COOKBOOK FUNDRAISER As part of its fundraising efforts, the York County Paralegal Association is planning to publish a cookbook. Naturally, we need recipes and we’re asking all YCPA members to share one or two recipes for inclusion. Please take a moment and email your recipes to Tina Gingerich at tgingerich@cgalaw.com; please be sure to use the subject line “Recipe.” The cookbook should be published and ready for sale later this year. With your help, this fundraiser will be another success for the Association.


**Help Wanted!!! The York County Paralegal Association needs a "Special Events Committee" and is looking for members who would like to get involved with this exciting new committee. For those who don't have the time to commit to an everyday-type position, this would be the perfect way for you to get involved. The Committee will plan the Paralegal Day Social and perhaps one or two other events during the year. Please e-mail Ruth Kissinger at rkissinger@cgalaw.com if you are interested.


Membership Committee Forming The York County Paralegal Association is forming a Membership Committee and need some creative members of YCPA to join us. Please contact Lisa Marie Barley at barleyyork@aol.com if you are intested in getting together to brainstorm ways we could increase our membership numbers. Thanks!!


Scholarship The York County Paralegal Association is pleased to announce that it will award a $500 Scholarship to a student enrolled in a post-secondary paralegal program. Click on the link below for more details and to download the application.

The 2008 York County Paralegal Association Basket Lottery has been a HUGE success. This fundraiser raised money for our Scholarship Program and will help finance future educational seminars for our members. Thank you to everyone who sold and purchased tickets. Please keep an eye on the daily lottery numbers to see if you have won. Winners will be contacted by the Fundraising Committee.
